XLUNA Media Elite is a desktop media player with live cinematic looks, 3D sound, Theatre, which brings your streaming services onto the same stage and graded export. It works locally first: your files, library and exports stay on your PC. This page sets out what the app stores and the network connections it involves.
XLUNA Media Elite is made by XLUNA™, an independent software studio run by Hasnain Butt Akhtar. It applies to version 1.0.0.0 and later on Windows. The app works without an account and without telemetry.
No name, email, phone number, address, account, sign-in or identifier.
No telemetry, crash analytics, tracking or advertising code of any kind.
The files you play or add to the library stay on your PC. They are not uploaded, scanned online or used to train anything. Titles come from tags and file names only; the app does not look anything up online.
No location, contacts or precise device tracking. The app reads your audio devices, processor and graphics details only to play and encode on your PC.
Exports go only to the folder you pick. The app does not change your original files. The app itself keeps the following in its own data folder on your PC, and none of it is uploaded.
Appearance, playback, subtitle, sound and export options, and whether the welcome screen has been shown.
The folders you added and, for each title, its name, file path, details, where you stopped, favourites, collections and the look or sound you chose for it.
Small pictures made from your files for posters, seek previews and chapters.
The looks, LUTs and sound scenes you save or import, and the export queue.
Pages opened in Theatre keep their own cookies and sign-in state in a profile folder on your PC, as any browser would. It is never read or copied by the app.
A short local log of recovered problems, limited in size. It is not sent anywhere.
Managed by the Microsoft Store. The app reads it on your PC; we receive nothing.
Uninstalling the app removes its data folder. Exports you saved to your own folders stay where you put them.
The app contains no analytics, no update checker and no code that uploads your data to XLUNA™ or anyone else. Every network connection connected with it is listed here.

When you open a streaming service or a web address in Theatre, that page loads over the internet the way it would in a browser, and the service sees your visit as it would anywhere. The app does not download, save or read the streams. Anything you sign in to stays between you and that service.
The Microsoft Store page, the XLUNA website and this privacy page open in your own browser or the Store only when you choose them.
Playing, grading, shaping sound and exporting never use the internet. No data is sent to XLUNA™, and nothing is shared with any third party by the app.
XLUNA Media Elite is a paid app with a free trial managed by the Microsoft Store. Microsoft handles every payment and transaction. We never see or store your card details or your Microsoft account information.
Needed to read the media files you open, to decode, play and export them with your processor and graphics device, and to run as a normal desktop program. The app starts without administrator rights.
Off until you turn it on in Settings. It uses the Windows startup task, which you can also switch off in Windows Settings.
The app opens and saves only the files and folders you pick in the standard Windows dialogs, plus the folders you add to the library.
Audio device, processor and graphics details are read locally to play and encode, and are never sent anywhere.
XLUNA Media Elite is a general-audience tool. It is not directed at children under 13 and does not collect information from anyone.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new "last updated" date, and it will keep the same principle: your work stays on your PC.
