XLUNA AI Assistant Pro is a private AI assistant that answers on your own PC, with no account and no cloud. This page sets out what it stores, where, and the single request it hands to Microsoft.
XLUNA AI Assistant Pro is made by XLUNA, an independent software studio run by Hasnain Butt Akhtar. It applies to XLUNA AI Assistant Pro 1.0.0 and later on Windows. The app works without an account and without telemetry.
No name, email, phone number, address, account, sign-in or identifier.
No telemetry, crash analytics, tracking or advertising code of any kind.
The questions you type, the answers you receive, documents, PDFs, pictures and screenshots you add, and your notes are processed on your PC and are never uploaded.
Your processor, memory, graphics card and current load are read only to show you how the app will run on your PC. They are never sent anywhere.
No GPS or device location.
Your appearance, assistant preferences, the short text you write about yourself, voice choice and other options are saved in the XLUNA AI Assistant Pro folder of your local app data.
If you leave Save history on, your conversations and the pictures you attached to them are stored in that same folder. You can delete any conversation, or all of them, from the app, and you can turn history off in Settings.
Documents and pictures are read in place or copied into the app folder only when you attach them to a conversation. Anything you save from the app goes where you choose.
A small log of recovered errors in the app folder, to help diagnose problems. It holds no personal content and is never sent.
The Report buttons open a draft email addressed to contact@xlunastudio.com that you can read, edit or discard. Nothing is sent unless you send it yourself.
Managed by the Microsoft Store. The app reads it on your PC; we receive nothing.
Uninstalling the app removes its folder. Files you saved elsewhere stay where you put them.
The app makes no internet connections of its own. The on-device model runs as a private background process that the app starts and stops, and the app talks to it only over a connection that stays inside your PC. The model has no access to the internet and cannot look anything up online.
No data is sent to XLUNA.
XLUNA AI Assistant Pro is a paid app with a free trial managed by the Microsoft Store. Microsoft handles every payment and transaction. We never see or store your card details or your Microsoft account information. The rating button only opens the Microsoft Store's own rating page, and nothing is offered or withheld in return for a rating.
Needed to run the bundled on-device model as a background process and to read the documents and pictures you choose to add.
Off until you turn it on in Settings. It uses the Windows startup task, which you can also switch off in Windows Settings.
Not requested by the app. The Microsoft Store licence check is performed by Windows.
XLUNA AI Assistant Pro is a general-purpose assistant. It is not directed at children under 13 and does not collect information from anyone. Answers are screened for unsafe content and labelled as AI generated, and they can still be wrong, so important results should be checked.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new "last updated" date, and it will keep the same principle: your data stays on your PC.
